Northwestern New Mexico Screenwriting Competition

Residents of Northwestern New Mexico Pueblo communities, Navajo Nation, or any of the counties pictured below are all welcome to register and submit their stories for the chance to have it become a short film made with industry standard equipment and with veterans of the Film & TV industry!

Stagecoach Foundation’s Road Show is coming to Gallup to train aspiring film makers by filming a winning short film script. That’s right, your short film script could be filmed, edited, and on the big screen by next year! Our Road Show training brings in top notch film professionals to teach students in Assistant Camera, Acting for the Camera, Sound, & Grip in a 2-day intensive. The winning script will be filmed on a 2-camera shoot, supported by Panavision for Arri Alexa cameras, dolly & track from Maleko Grip & Rigging, and set lights & electric equipment from Serious Grippage. The winning Short Film will be screened in your community as well as at George R.R. Martin’s Jean Cocteau Cinema in Santa Fe.
