Developing a Post-Production Economy:
A Discussion w/ Christina Perez of Amazon Studios

Stagecoach Foundation is pleased to host educators, students, and leaders from around the state to join us in a discussion with Christina Perez of Amazon Studios with the goal of learning how New Mexico can become a hub for Post-Production and New Mexicans can begin filling rewarding Post-Production positions right here at home.

Christina Perez is a Sr. Post Production Executive for Amazon Studios with over eighteen years of experience in post production.

An Angelino native and daughter of Mexican immigrants, Christina attended Occidental College where she studied Art History, Visual Arts and Film Production. She began her career at the Warner Brothers TV Post Production department as a PA, eventually producing on numerous scripted television projects such as Hell On Wheels (AMC), Falling Skies (TNT), Halt and Catch Fire (AMC), Constantine (NBCUNI), Hemlock Grove (Netflix), The Walking Dead (AMC), and Vida (STARZ).

In 2019 she crossed over into the Studio forum. First acting as the head of Scripted Post Production at Fremantle North America and currently working with the US Scripted team at Amazon Studios overseeing such titles as The Wheel Of Time and Them.

She is has been a member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA) since 2015
