SCREENING OF PAREIDOLIA WITH WRITER-DIRECTOR ERICK CASTILLO

“‘Pareidolia’ is a must watch for anyone who has experienced loss, and one of the best indie films of the year.” - Review of PAREIDOLIA by Byrd Meets Girl

Join us for a special screening of award-winning short film PAREIDOLIA with writer-director and Stagecoach Foundation contributing instructor Erick Castillo! PAREIDOLIA (Best Drama, 2018 New Mexico Filmmakers Showcase) tells the story of Milo, who wakes up with no memory and must piece together his identity. The story that unfolds is part mystery, part psychological exploration, and fully immersing.

Erick Castillo will participate in a Q&A after the event. Audience members will have the opportunity to learn about the PAREIDOLIA journey from concept to award-winning film, as well as Castillo’s experiences in independent filmmaking. We are especially proud to showcase PAREIDOLIA because as an instructor, Erick is an integral member of the Stagecoach family. He has taught Stagecoach’s young filmmakers everything from lighting to cinematography, helping shape the future of New Mexico film.

PAREIDOLIA runs 30 minutes. More information about the film is available at IMDB.
